America Association for Marriage & Family Therapist -AAMFT Approved Supervisor.

Nicole is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who has completed the education, experience, and supervision mentoring requirements established by the AAMFT. As an AAMFT Supervisor designation identifies those professionals who have met the AAMFT requirements to provide Marriage & Family Therapist Supervision for the MFT community.

She is a systems therapist and approaches problems practically rather than analytically. Nicole seeks to identify patterns of behavior within systems rather than just individually. She uses creative genograms to visually represent family systems. The genogram is like a family tree that identifies multiple generations. The purpose of a genogram is to see a visual family system, identify pivotal moments, and acknowledge patterns.

As a child,  Nicole grew up in a family system that frequently insisted on secrecy and "being seen and not heard". However, she could not be silent. Nicole remembers being told by an ancestor that she was wise.  This significant affirmation became a confirmation that propelled Nicole to become her best.
